Melissa has always had a passion for all types of animals. Growing up she had a border collie that had Epilepsy. This spurred her interest for helping animals through a veterinary path to help animals like her own. Her goal is to make every interaction a positive one for both the patient and their pet parents. She has a special interest in pain management and neonatal puppies and kittens and has been a technician for 14 years.

Her family consists of her amazing husband Eric, her four dogs (Kevin, Sweet Dee, Norman and Bodhi), two crested geckos (Dylan & Stubbs), and their rainbow boa (Reggie).
