A semi-annual to annual exam is highly recommended for your pet. Animals do age faster and the earlier a problem can be diagnosed the better it can be treated. A complete exam will consist of a head to toe exam. Having a good look at the eyes, ears, oral cavity, listening to the heart and lungs, feeling the abdomen, examining the reproductive organs, checking the nervous system, looking at the skin, and evaluating the musculoskeletal system all constitute a complete exam.
